14,OOO Dead Babies and other lies!

The pro Hamas lobby often masquerades as being simply “Pro Palestine” when in fact it often shares the same aim as Hamas – the destruction of Israel. Now, they tend not to say the quiet bit out loud, but they can be absolutely relied upon to shamelessly parrot Hamas propaganda and that is where the 14,000 dead babies come in.

Here are a few examples of what I mean.

Let’s start with renowned Scottish clown, Humza Yusuf,

“14,000 babies will die in the next 48 hours unless Israel allows sufficient aid into Gaza. Stop what you’re doing. Take action. At the very least speak out and demand the UK Government stops selling arms to Israel. Do something. The lives of 14,000 babies depends on it.”

Let’s check out the United Nations next, shall we?

The BBC chose not to question Mr Fletcher and so it was that this “14,000 dead babies” allegation spread like wildfire across the media. In fact, it amplified the message…

Those damned Jews, right? 14,000 dead babies in 48 hours.

However, there was a problem. This figure was completely wrong.

Turns out that the “14,000 dead babies” was a fiction. In fact, a UN food insecurity report had claimed that 14,100 children under 5 (not babies) MAY face malnutrition over a year — not die in 48 hours. Malnutrition ≠ imminent death. And the 14,000 figure claim isn’t even current, but predictive.

Which explains why we then saw this…

Got that, even the rabidly biased UN knew that it has lied and so retracted the claim! However the likes of Humza Yusuf has chosen not to delete his fake news and it is still on his X feed at time of writing. That tells you all you need to know about him and his ilk.

This is how the anti-Israeli side operate. They conjure up a lie, it gets pushed through the mainsteam media generating huge headlines and then they walk away whistling when the truth gets out there to counter it. In essence it’s hit and run, push out a lie and hope it sticks and that’s the truth!
