The uprising of the British

Yesterday was quite a remarkable day in the UK with the emergence of two new forces on the centre right of the political divide. First out of the traps was Ben Habib’s new ADVANCE UK party. Watch the video here.

As you can see, Ben is putting his own money where is mouth is, a laudable act. Advance UK is a political party that you will be able to vote for and sees itself as a valid alternative to the Reform/Conservative. I am interviewing Ben Habib later today and will put the video up here for your interest!

As if that were not enough, Rupert Lowe has launched his movement which is called Restore Britain, which he defines as “a movement for those who believe that we need to fundamentally change the way Britain is governed. We will build a policy platform, together. A movement will be created, together. A path will be forged, together. This is not a political party, but a fundamentally different way of doing things.”

Might it morph into a Party at some point? Might it join with Ben Habib’s Advance UK party?

There are all the obvious questions such as will this split the centre right vote, will it even work, and I will ask Ben these questions tonight but it is evidence that Nigel Farage’s REFORM is not the only show in town and that he does not have the entire disaffected right to himself. That said, Reform has huge momentum and will only grow and grow. But will it actually DELIVER? I suspect Advance UK and Restore Britain will keep it honest, as a minimum!
