Isn’t it strange watching Canada grovel to China, desperate for some crumbs from the Chinese table?

I see that former deputy prime minister Angela Rayner has let it be known that she does not want Andy Burnham to be prevented from standing in the Gorton and Denton by-election!

There’s something that is sickeningly hypocritical about virtue signalling politicians and one of the worst of these is Sir Keir Starmer.

Look, unlike 3500 others, I lived threw that which is euphemistically known as the “Northern Ireland troubles” so I guess I am allowed to have an opinion on the latest decision by this disgusting morally-bankrupt IRA-appeasing Labour Government to clear the way for the renewed prosecution of British soldiers for incidents that occurred during the “Troubles”!

Nobody can be that surprised at the news that the number of people claiming Universal Credit has exploded under Keir Starmer’s useless Labour government.

Trump at Davos

Donald Trump has been US President for just over a year now and by almost every traditional economic and security metric the United States is visibly outperforming Germany.

So the European Parliament is threatening to suspend approval of the US tariffs deal negotiated last July, sources close to its international trade committee claim.

Today sees the force of nature that is President Trump descend upon the snowy Swiss resort at Davos and it promises to be epic!

There was little doubt in my mind that the UK Government would genuflect and grant China the massive Embassy space they want in the very heart of London.

It would be funny if it wasn’t also tragic.

There is a scene in the “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” movie that reminds me of Conservative Leader Kemi Badenoch’s current position as she tries to pretend all is well when it couldn’t be much worse.

Sending ONE lone British military officer to Greenland has just the UK 10% tariffs on exports to the USA from February 1st.

Why does the UK Government care so passionately about protecting the borders of other countries but NOT those of the UK?

President Trump’s determination to control Greenland may have a further explanation – namely the need to have a strategic base from which to keep Canada under very close scrutiny.
