Will Sweden deport Muslims?

The rather photogenic Swedish Deputy PM Ebba Busch made a very clear statement the other day that is worth a little consideration.

“Islam needs to adapt to Swedish values. Muslims who do not integrate should leave this country!

I agree with her sentiment but what happens if Muslims living in Sweden choose not to integrate? Is Islam capable of “adapting” to Swedish values and what exactly are they?

Sweden has been changing since 2015. I visited Stockholm a few times around 2016-2015 and the change was not so obvious then but change it did. Like so many other western countries, Sweden doesn’t track immigration by religion. But it is reckoned that 200,000 Muslim migrants came in between 2015-2020, a huge number! This was followed by about 100,000 between 2021-2024. As it stands, around 2.1 million of Sweden’s inhabitants, or 20% of the population, were born abroad, with Syria, Iraq, Iran, Somalia and Afghanistan the most common non-EU countries of birth. Mamma Mia!

The coastal Swedish city of Malmo is a great example of what goes wrong with this unfettered migration. When I was last there, I stuck to the quaint city centre but to go beyond that was to risk danger! As of 2024, Malmö has a population of 365,644, with nearly half of its residents having a foreign background. People from 187 different countries reside in Malmö, and over 150 languages are spoken. It is Swedish Babylon! Around a third of those living there are Muslim. So it could be seen as a Muslim city.

Does PM Busch really think that they are integrating? I doubt it, no one could be that stupid. So, what does she propose doing? Sweden will need to do that same thing every other European country needs to do and that is mass deportation of muslim migrants. Would it dare?

Europeans seem unable to grasp the fact that Islam does not adapt, it seeks to control and demand your submission. Such a value system seems fundamentally alien to western values and yet millions of muslims now live on the European continent and the evidence suggests that integration is not on the agenda.
