We all know the savage history.
On 29 July 2024, a mass stabbing targeting children occurred at a dance studio in Southport, Merseyside, United Kingdom. Three children were killed, and ten others – eight of whom were children – were injured. Axel Rudakubana was arrested at the scene and has been charged with three counts of murder, ten counts of attempted murder, and possession of a bladed article.
As we know, there was nationwide unrest in the immediate aftermath of these horrible murders and then a fierce response by the new Labour Government that put people behind bars for posting memes and expressing their rage at this horror.
Now, their alleged killer, Axel Rudakabana was initially described as “a Cardiff man” before we got the greater truth – that he was a second generation Rwandan. His parents “arrived” in the UK during the 1990’s – the time when a genocide was happening in Rwanda. We know nothing about how they got here, what grounds were put forward for them staying here, what they did in Rwanda at that time etc? All cloaked in silence. We know that their son, Axel, was born in the UK in 2006. Merseyside Police insisted that the attack was NOT terrorist-related. It was also stated he was not Muslim and more than likely from a “Christian” background.
