You will recall the trouble that Democrat Presidential nominee Kamala Harris got herself into when she CLAIMED that she worked in McDonalds in California but was unable to prove it.
The Democratic nominee says she worked at the burger chain’s Alameda, California branch over the summer of 1983, when she would have been 19 or 20 years old and a student at Howard University in Washington. She said that that she was ‘doing french fries and ice cream’!
Mmm. That sounds a bit fishy.
And even Snopes has rated Harris’ claim as at best ‘unproven’,
‘Harris has made this claim repeatedly over the years, and multiple reputable news outlets have reported on the story.’ But, aside from Harris’ testimony itself, there is no evidence (such as a photo, employment record or confirmation from a friend or family member) to independently verify the claim.’
Donald Trump, who is a big fan of McDonalds, and many others believe that she simply made this claim up to boost her working class credentials.
So yesterday, Trump went to work in McDonalds! Yes! Here is a short video of it.
This has to be ultimate troll from Trump because he chose her 60th Birthday to say to her that he had demonstrably worked in McDonalds! The reaction from staff and customers was amazing and it showed off Trump’s charisma and his ability to get on with ordinary people. Naturally this stunt caused great distress in Democrats ranks which is, of course, the point.
Say what you will about Donald Trump but he has the knack to do the things others can’t. I think this was a McSuccess and yes, I will have fries with that!
