Klaus Schwab sent the clear signal;
“So is an awareness now, generally, it’s generally accepted that, climate change, if we do not tackle it, could be the next big, let’s say virus, with much more damaging and long term consequences, compared to COVID 19″.
Now let’s swiftly move on to talk about the cancellation of the Edinburgh Hogmanay celebrations tonight.
“Extreme Weather”, you say?
Here is the forecast for tonight, December 31st, for the Edinburgh area. My source if NOT the Met Office as I do not trust this heavily politicised outfit but rather the more respectable Weather Radar. I use it and find it pretty precise.
Dry, no rain expected. Ah, but what about those deadly high winds?
This suggests there will be fresh winds from the SW of 20mph wit gusts of 40mph. So it will be windy but nothing that the good people of Edinburgh have not seen before. I recall being in Edinburgh some years back and the wind and rain was impressive but life went on. So this forecast is NOT apocalyptic and it’s NOT “EXTREME WEATHER” but the response to it could be seen as a genuflection to what Schwab is claiming. Will 2025 be the year that a more determined push is made to terrify the global population into submission to “muh climate emergency” and all the assaults on our freedoms that accompany that agenda?
Of course, I may be reading too much into the weather aspect of things! Perhaps there maybe another explanation for this cancellation. The Edinburgh Hogmanay is the largest gathering of people in the world to welcome in 2025. Perhaps a “Cardiff Man” or two may have been planning to pay it a visit? Who knows?
