Hi David. There are more regional banks whose share price have plummeted – more collapse to come.
Im wondering if this is intentional. I suspect the American govt would like to see American banking consolidated into 5 to 10 large (too big to fail) banks. Maybe in readiness for the the American CBDC. The small regional banks in the states seemed to concentrate on specific niches of the economy – many were deeply involved in the local commercial real estate which is imploding in the states. UK banks’ stock prices seem to be holding up so far but property prices in the UK have not fallen substantially yet.
