Do you remember back in 2023 when a convicted rapist who called himself Isla Bryson was remanded to a women’s prison in Scotland. This caused such a furore that this decision was reversed and it led to the fall of then SNP Leader Nicola Sturgeon. The gist of the argument was that biological men must NOT be send to Women’s Prison as it is akin to putting a fox and in hen house.

Now let’s forward to December 2024 and we read the following;

A “transgender woman” won a High Court case to be transferred to Northern Ireland’s female prison while being held on charges of threatening to kill her neighbour, it has emerged.

“Threatening to kill HIS neighbour” might be more apt. Moving on…

Michelle James, 63, was moved from Maghaberry Prison to Hydebank Wood on Thursday after taking court proceedings. The move happened after the Department of Justice accepted there was a lack of policy in place for transgender prisoners and consented to the transfer.

The Northern Ireland judiciary are just as at sea on this as was the Scottish courts and it all comes to to one simple question; “What IS a transwoman”?

One definition is as follows;

A trans woman is a person who was male at birth but whose gender identity is female. Trans women identify, live, and may seek to present themselves as women, often undergoing social, legal, and sometimes medical transitions to align their physical appearance with their gender identity. This can include hormone replacement therapy, surgeries, or other forms of gender-affirming care.

However this in itself is troublesome because another definition may be that a transwoman is a biological man who in some cases simply pretends to be a woman. And when some such individuals are sent into all female prisons, the predictable happens;

“A former prisoner in the Rose M. Singer women’s jail on Rikers Island is suing New York City, alleging jail staff ignored her warnings in 2022 that a transgender woman housed among females was actually a man pretending to be a woman in order to prey on the opposite sex behind bars. “His introduction was, ‘I’m not transgender. I’m straight. I like women,’” said the plaintiff, who is identified only as “Rose Doe” in the lawsuit.”

By sending biologically intact “transwomen” into a Women’s prison, the safety of those women held in such institutions is potentially compromised. In essence the safety of women is sacrificed to uphold the trans ideology. Thou shalt not challenge the trans. And our Judiciary is in on the game.
