The newly elected Reform Mayor of Lincoln, Dame Andrea Jenkyns, caused quite a stir when she made the following comments concerning illegal migrants during her victory speech.
Now I thought this was very reasonable. All that she said was that she opposed putting illegal migrants in hotels and that tents would be good enough for them, as they do in France.
Cue confected outrage from the scum media and the other beaten candidates on the stage who almost fainted at Andrea making a very sensible point.
That then led to this Marjorie Taylor Greene-esque exchange with a Sly News “journalist”…
I fully agree with Andrea that any illegal migrants that reach our soil should be housed in tents before they are immediately deported. It would be better if we stop ALL of them arriving here in the first place, of course, but why on earth should they be housed in hotels or indeed social housing? That only encourages them. BTW I disagree that we should have allowed any Ukrainian “refugees” into the UK.
The UK is getting to the point where we either toughen up our border controls by deploying the Royal Navy IN THE CHANNEL and turning around every boat whilst deporting EVERY illegal migrant by boat back to France, OR we accept the UK will become a 3rd world sh*thole – which many parts of it already have!
