The last time I was in California, I landed at San Francisco airport and travelled by taxi into the City. To my annoyance, there was extra traffic congestion due to the SF Pride parade taking place on that day. Happily, I never seen any of the debacuchery and degeneracy that accompanies this event so that was the upside. Anyway, the times they are a changing in San Francisco (Twinned with Gomorrah)….
I read with delight that San Francisco Pride faces significant financial challenges recently.
The organisation lost approximately $300,000 in funding due to several long-term corporate sponsors pulling out. These sponsors include Comcast, Anheuser-Busch, Diageo, and La Crema, among others. This amount represents a substantial portion of the $1.2 million still needed for the event, with a total budget goal of $2.3 million for the June 28-29, 2025 celebration. Despite this setback, SF Pride’s executive director, Suzanne Ford, has stated that the event will proceed as planned, with efforts underway to secure alternative funding through community donations and new sponsors.
WHY do they need $2.3m to cavort through the streets and parade their sexual lusts? It seems to that these PRIDE parades are as much about the grift than they are about LGBTQ+ advocacy. What exactly does the money go towards?
Ford has suggested that the sponsors’ withdrawal may be linked to a shifting political climate, particularly citing pressure from the Trump administration’s crackdown on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. However, some companies, like La Crema, have claimed their decisions were due to budgetary or logistical constraints rather than political motives, and they expressed intentions to still support the event in a reduced capacity.
The THEME of the Parade this year is “Queer Joy is Resistance.”
Can you imagine the mindset of a corporate sponsor of such a theme?
The only thing they resist is reality and normality.
I have no issue with people doing what they want in the privacy of their own houses. That applies to straight and gay people. But these PRIDE parades have become something much more and it seems that the TRANS element within the LGBT+ movement calls the shots. There is the distinct smell of sulphur about them. As such they should be defunded of ALL taxpayer monies and that should bring about the required retreat of this pernicious movement.
It is said PRIDE comes before a fall, and we are now beginning to witness that in the USA.
