The UK media is suddenly replete with mysterious tales of drones suddenly appearing across crucial locations;
A number of “small unmanned aerial systems” have been spotted over three US airbases in East Anglia, the United States Air Force (USAF) has confirmed. The unidentified drones were seen over RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall, in Suffolk, and RAF Feltwell, in Norfolk, earlier this week. USAF added that it was unclear whether the drones were considered hostile at this stage.

This all reminds me of when we were warned by the media about the “new” Delta variant of Covid, lots of noise and designed to heighten the fear. It seems pretty unlikely that Russia is sending small drones thousands of miles to buzz a few RAF/USAF sites in England but if the Government’s aim is to continually project imagined reasons to be fearful of Putin these stories would be very nicely.
