Globalist Carney goes to WAR with the US!

Did you see that Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, a typical liberal globalist, has whined that Canada’s old relationship with the United States—built on economic integration and security cooperation—is “over” all because President Trump’s putting America First with his tariff strategy!

Speaking to reporters in Ottawa after a cabinet meeting, Carney moaned that Canadians need to “fundamentally reimagine our economy” to dodge Trump’s trade policies.

Carney’s big idea? Slapping retaliatory tariffs on the U.S. with what he calls “maximum impact”—a weak and economically illiterate attempt to challenge Trump’s leadership. This comes after Trump announced on Wednesday that he’s hitting imported vehicles and parts with a 25% tax, saying, “This is permanent”!

Ouch!

Carney, who is the unelected Liberal Party leader following Trudeau’s exit, got all nostalgic about the 1965 Canada-US Automotive Products Agreement, calling it the “most important deal” of his life. “That’s finished with these tariffs,” he cried in French, probably hoping to sound sophisticated. He then babbled on about Canada surviving Trump’s tariffs if the government and businesses “reimagine” and “retool” the auto industry. This is total delusion.

Carney wants an economy Canadians can “control,” which sounds like code for cutting ties with Trump’s America and begging other countries for help. Might Canada seek to join the EU?

He’s not even sure if Canada can keep a strong trade relationship with the U.S.—no surprise, since Trump’s forcing those like Carney to step up or step aside. With an election next month, Carney’s ditched his campaign to frighten Canadians over Trump’s latest import duties. The U.S. has already slapped a 25% tariff on Canadian goods, plus aluminium and steel, and Canada’s pathetic $60 billion in counter-tariffs is just a drop in the bucket compared to US economic might. The new car tariffs kick in April 2, with parts taxes coming later—classic Trump timing to keep the pressure on.

Trump then took to Truth Social warning Canada and the EU:

“If the European Union works with Canada to try and defeat Trump’s America, I’ll hit them with tariffs so huge they won’t know what hit them.”

Carney huddled with his ministers in Ottawa to “discuss trade options,” cancelling his Quebec campaign because Trump’s has him so rattled.

Carney is the consummate globalist plant and he may well win the Canadian election but he will assuredly lose the battle with Trump and Canada will become an even colder place!
