Corpses for Hostages

It’s a solemn day in Israel as the latest “hostage” swap takes place. But this a hostage swap unlike any other.

Hamas has handed over four coffins believed to contain the bodies of dead hostages – including Shiri Bibas and her two young sons, Ariel and Kfir, whose plight came to embody the country’s agony over the October 7 attack. At just nine months old, baby Kfir was the youngest captive seized that day. He was taken by Palestinian terrorists alongside his mother Shiri, and then-four-year-old brother Ariel.

The other corpse handed over was that of the 84 year old peace activist Oded Lifschitz.

In exchange for these corpses, Israel is handing over a number of Palestinians. The difference is they are alive.

It’s hard to know which words to choose BUT I would like to see Hamas totally erased from the soil of Gaza and no further “hostage” swaps. Gaza needs fumigated and Hamas has to end. This is a great evil and I find it hard to stomach this sort of dealing for corpses. I do understand the families wanting closure but it’s beyond words.
