Critics talk about actors “dying” on stage and that’s what we saw in the first US Presidential debate last night as Joe Biden corpsed. Did you see it? Trump was Trump, controlled, sharp, and not too annoying, Presidential you might say, But Biden was absolutely atrocious. Check out 50 secs in.
It was so bad that even though CNN had rigged the format to try and help Biden, the snap poll of CNN viewers handed it as an easy win to Trump!
Biden seemed confused, totally lost on the detail, and unable to finish his own sentences. This was the Dementia on full display and very sad to see at one level.
It cannot go on. Biden could not make it through a 90 minute debate so HOW can he make it through 5 more months to November, let alone 4 more years?
What happens now? It is not clear to me how they get rid of him but get rid they must. If this early debate was a Democrat stress test of their Leader, they must be clear that he failed.
