I see that the uber woke West Yorkshire Police has implemented a recruitment policy that temporarily halts applications from white British candidates while allowing non-White “under-represented” groups to apply early for police constable roles.

This decision, intended to boost “diversity” within the force, has ignited a firestorm of criticism, raising serious questions about fairness, legality, and the broader implications for society. Why is this Police Force focusing on skin colour rather than aptitude when it comes to recruitment? Why is diversity even an issue? The purpose of the Police is to deal with criminals not to tick diversity boxes.

The policy which allows ethnic minority candidates to apply for 446 days over a 15-month period whilst white British candidates are restricted to just 99 days, is a clear example of discrimination. A whistleblower revealed that ethnic minority applicants are prioritised with a tiered ranking system—black and far east Asian candidates are “gold,” south-east Asian candidates “silver,” and white candidates, including those from Irish or eastern European backgrounds, are relegated to “bronze.”

Could this be any more anti-White?

This disgusting racial hierarchy is not only ethically abhorrent but also potentially unlawful under the UK’s Equality Act 2010, which permits positive action to encourage under-represented groups but prohibits discrimination in the selection process. West Yorkshire Police insist that no interviews occur until the general application window opens, yet the whistleblower’s claims of early shortlisting and mentoring for ethnic minority candidates suggest otherwise.

Isn’t it time to put West Yorkshire Police in the dock?

This two tier recruitment undermines the core principle of meritocracy, a cornerstone of any functioning institution, especially one as critical as the police. Policing requires the best candidates—those with the skills, judgment, and integrity to serve and protect—regardless of their ethnicity.

By prioritising race over merit, this risks alienating the majority population in West Yorkshire and further eroding public trust in the force.

Moreover, the policy exacerbates racial tensions rather than alleviating them. By explicitly excluding white British candidates, a subtle message is sent that their contributions are less valued, thus deepening divisions in a society already grappling with issues of identity and belonging. True diversity should be about equal opportunity, not engineered outcomes.

A police force that commands respect and trust cannot afford to be seen as prioritising ideology over fairness. This manipulative race gatekeeping of West Yorkshire Police shows how the woke virus has corrupted UK policing.
