How many people have lost their lives in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict? Estimates vary but around a million seems a reasonable guess. So that’s carnage on an WW1 scale and Ukraine, a much smaller country than Russia, has essentially lost an entire generation of young men. As the prospect of a Trump brokered peace dawns, we hear wild shrieks from the demonic pro-war fanatics insisting that we MUST “keep on going” which is a euphemism for keep the killing going. Why?
Isn’t it because war is ultimately just a blood sacrifice? Isn’t it because Satan loves death (just as we love life) and so the sight of the once fertile lands of Ukraine replete with scattered human remains must please him? The unbelievable carnage that has played out since 2022 has been sanitised by the media and presented to us as a battle between good (Ukraine) and evil (Russia). However that’s not the case.
It is a fight between the warmongers (evil) and those who want peace (good). I see NATO as the axis of evil here, as it contrived the war in the first plac and then fed it with Ukrainian and Russian corpses. Who wins here? Not Ukraine, not Russia.
NATO has tried to weaken Russia, displace Putin and advance its hunger for more territory. This has been a cataclysmic failure in every regard and that would be bad in itself but think of the human cost paid. Think of the families who have lost their sons, their future. Think of the men who have survived but with the most horrendous injuries. How can Ukraine recover from the machinations of the war-mongers?
It’s become obvious that Ukraine has lost the battle and lost a generation of men in the process. Yet even as I write this and the Trump peace agenda advanced there is significant pushback from many European countries. The UK is amongst them and it seems to want to see the killing continue. I see that as an indulgence of sheer evil and a wish to keep the blood sacrifice going. In every regard this is immoral and unethical.
