The level of insanity exhibited by our elected officials is disgracefully dangerous. Representative Raskin believes he and the Democrats can Disqualify Trump on January 20th with the 14th Amendment.

Fourteenth Amendment Explained
Section 1
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
Section 2
Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice-President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.
Section 3
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
Section 4
The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.
Section 5
The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
The 14th Amendment was created to smooth out the difficulties in the reuniting of the United States after the Civil War. It was to guarantee the rights of former slaves, and restore the rights of soldiers and citizens that supported the Confederacy. It has no bearing on modern day America. It served it’s one purpose.
According to Rep. Raskin and several very confused Lawyers and Pundits Section 3 disqualifies DJT from being President. They believe THEY can just declare Trump an Insurrectionist. Never mind Section 1 clearly states that a citizen can not be deprived of their Rights without Due Process of the Law, nor can anyone deny them of that Due Process.
Donald J Trump has NEVER been charged with Insurrection, let alone been convicted of it. Nor has Congress passed Legislation declaring Trump an Insurrectionist to allow them to use Section 5.
The Democrat Party that just spent the last 4 years screaming that the election of Donald J Trump would end Democracy are planning to End Democracy. Without Due Process of Law, or Legislation convicting DJT of Insurrection they intend to just declare it to be so. The act of true Tyrants, as Raskin said in his statement they will all need bodyguards as the country would be plunged into Civil War.
The action that Representative Raskin promotes is the exact reason why the Founding Fathers included the 2nd Amendment in the Constitution, so that the People would have the means to over throw a tyrannical Government acting against the will of the people.
We shall have to see if these lunatics in the Democrat Party actually try to carry out this insanity. In the mean time Trump continues to troll not just the left in the U.S., and Canada, his trolling also extends to the War Mongering members of NATO.

How much does being in NATO cost the USA?
Adding to what David says here are my own feelings on the topic of NATO, as an American.
We need to cut these leaches free. The European members of NATO have never paid their fair share of the cost, while at the same time trying to provoke war with Russia. When the Berlin Wall fell an understanding was reached with Russia. East Berlin would join its Western half on the condition that NATO would never expand beyond the countries that NATO then contained. The European nations have been pushing to violate that agreement since day one. NATO has expanded and continues to do so. That is an active threat to Russia that was agreed to never take place. I won’t even get it into there stupidity of threatening Russia in this manner while they all have tied their Nations to buying Russian Fuel. There is no logic or common sense in Europe.
As for Great Britain.
The behavior of our cousins in the U.K. has been atrocious toward it’s own people. Parliaments and the Courts all out assault on free speech, the flooding of their nation with Middle Eastern refugees. Combined with the most incompetent Government to ever hold power in U.K. their Government festers like an open wound needing triage. I pray for them daily. What is happening there makes what is occurring in the US look like child’s play at tyranny in comparison. It’s a disgrace.
