Take the trans out of our schools!

Here’s a story which provides us with a very worrying insight into how the diabolical pro trans narrative has seized control of what happens in some of our PRIMARY schools!

It concerns a lady called Karina Conway, a 42-year-old mother of two, who found herself barred from her daughter’s school playground at Sunnyside Spencer Academy in Beeston, Nottingham, after raising concerns about the school’s approach to gender ideology.

Conway’s objection centred on the school’s alleged affirmation of “transgender identities” in children as young as nine, a practice she and others view as misguided and harmful. The school’s response—banning her for eight months starting in September 2024 and imposing conditions on her return— is outrageous.

Conway’s complaint stemmed from her belief that the school was misrepresenting legal protections under the Equality Act. She argued that the school taught pupils that transgender identity was a protected characteristic, despite the Act only referencing “gender reassignment,” a term tied to specific legal and medical processes, not self-declared identities. This is the CRUCIAL point as equating subjective gender feelings with protected statuses risks eroding clarity in law and policy.

I also think that Conway’s stance reflects a broader concern:

Schools are indoctrinating young children into a framework that prioritises ideology over biological reality. This is truly malevolent.

The school’s reaction to Conway’s dissent was swift and punitive. After she voiced her concerns, she was ordered to stay away from the playground and later told she could return only if she refrained from criticising the school online. Who the hell does this School think it is? How dare they respond in this way!

It also raises a red flag about free speech, suggesting that this school prioritises its image over open dialogue. In 2023, when Conway joined women’s rights activist Kellie-Jay Keen to protest outside the school, teachers called the police—an escalation critics argue was meant to intimidate rather than address legitimate parental concerns.

Conway’s experience points to an even deeper issue: the silencing of parents who challenge the imposition of gender ideology in schools.

She told The Telegraph;

“This trust is silencing the voices of parents who know sex is real and when it matters, it really matters.”

Those of us who believe that biological sex is an immutable fact, not a malleable concept subject to affirmation by schools, will stand with Conway. Affirming a child’s “transgender identity” at such a young age will only lead to confusion, social pressure, or even irreversible medical decisions. It is morally wrong.

The school’s handling of Conway’s complaints also raises more questions. While it reportedly acknowledged errors in how it taught the Equality Act and thanked her for raising the issue, it then threatened legal action if she persisted. WTF!! This contradiction—acknowledging a mistake while punishing the whistleblower—suggests an institution much more concerned with control than accountability.

Conway’s ban was lifted only with conditions that she notify the school of her attendance and avoid negative online posts— authoritarian terms that seem designed to curb her influence rather than foster trust. The trust’s claim that teachers felt “nervous” around her appears to critics as an excuse to marginalise a parent who dared question their narrative. If I had a child in that school I would feel nervous around these teachers.

Schools should not be labs for social experiments and I think this case blows the whistle on the vile woke ideology being taught in the classroom, contaminating impressionable young minds.
