Did you see that Snow White wants to… free Gaza?
Snow White remake star Rachel Zegler has triggered another storm of controversy while promoting the long-delayed Disney film. The 23-year-old, who has repeatedly sparked anger with her woke views, waded into the Israel-Palestine conflict on X while promoting the blockbuster movie, despite branding experts warning that such antics could trigger a boycott. The New Jersey native took to X on August 12 – two days after posting the trailer – to reply to her own post by saying: ‘And always remember, free Palestine.’ .
To be honest, given that this is a DISNEY production, having a woke pro Palestinian Snow White is likely to be the least of our problems! I understand that the famous “Whistle while you work” scene where all the little animals do the tidying up as Snow White cleans has been changed to the seven dwarfs doing all the cleaning whilst Snow White sits back and relaxes. Girl Power, baby!
There was a time where Disney had at least a reputation but family friendly entertainment – (although perhaps things were more codified then) – but NOW I see Disney as a demon corporation which turns everything it touches into rust. King Midas in Reverse syndrome!
I will be surprised if this Snow White remake is a major success. Innocence, once lost, cannot be restored and furthermore Disney’s track record in recent years shows that their pursuit of woke has lost them a fair audience share.
I used to enjoy watching the Marvel movies until Disney bought Marvel and just like that he movies became unbearable and all the MALE lead roles were switched to FEMALE but who want to see the She-Hulk or Spiderwoman?
