You would need a heart of stone NOT to laugh at this video clip posted by Hollywood actress Selena Gomez. First. let’s watch and listen to what she had to say;
She is very unhappy that the US Government is deporting criminals who entered the US illegally. Not sure Selena has read the room because the policy being enacted by the Trump administration is wildly popular with Americans and she has subsequently deleted it.
But here’s the point, if Selena is unhappy about how the US treats “her people” in Mexico why doesn’t she just go and live in Mexico? After all, they are “her people” I am sure America will cope with the loss? Now, you might say to me to go easy on her, after all she is only 32 years old and is perhaps just ignorant of the reality on the ground which Border Czar Tom Homan explains so well here.
This is the new reality – no more pandering. If she really feels that she must cry, the cry for the young men killed by fentanyl; Cry for the women savagely attacked; Cry for the children raped by monsters.
Her tears could be better deployed.
