It’s amazing the gaslighting that the UK establishment will produce in order to whip up fears of Russian President Putin. Just yesterday. British readers were confronted with this screaming headline!

The scum British media has once again resorted to fear-mongering by accusing Russia and President Vladimir Putin of plotting to sabotage the UK’s energy infrastructure, specifically its gas pipelines. This fake narrative claims that a Russian research vessel in the North Sea was probably mapping underwater energy assets, implying a sinister intent to disrupt Britain’s gas supply, such as the Langeled pipeline from Norway. Russia has consistently maintained that its maritime activities comply with international norms, and any presence in the North Sea could be framed as legitimate scientific or navigational operations, not espionage.
Yes, Britain’s has self-inflicted energy woes, with a reliance on imported gas—nearly 40% via a single pipeline—due to its dogmatic pursuit of Net Zero policies. Putin didn’t make us do that. This vulnerability really is not of Russia’s doing but a consequence of the UK’s shortsighted decisions to dismantle its own energy independence. Call it the Miliband factor if you will!
Last winter’s near-blackouts, driven by cold weather and insufficient domestic production, underscored this point. Russia, a global energy powerhouse, can argue that the West’s refusal to engage constructively with Moscow—opting instead for sanctions and exclusion—has forced nations like Britain into such precarious positions. It’s an own goal by the British establishment but they are pretending none of it is of their doing and that Putin is the real villain.
Western security advisers’ calls for 72-hour “survival kits” are plainly ridiculous! The Western media positions Russia as a scapegoat for the UK’s energy insecurity, while Putin’s strategic foresight contrasts with Britain’s apparent unpreparedness.
It’s all about Western projection, as it continues to prep for war!
