Nothing for Pensioners but £50m for Al Qaeda!

Just when you thought that you couldn’t hate this awful Labour Government much more, along comes this Festive titbit at a time when British pensioners are denied financial support to heat their homes.

The UK says it will provide £50m in international aid to help vulnerable Syrians “in their hour of need”. Low IQ Foreign Secretary David Lammy announced the emergency aid whilst urging the transitional government in Syria to protect human rights, destroy chemical weapons stockpiles and combat terrorism. A statement said the funding will enable “an urgent scale-up of humanitarian assistance when needs are at their highest” and will support the delivery of essential public services in the country.

Now this is surreal stuff starting with WHO exactly are these “vulnerable Syrians” that are in line for all this £££ loot via our taxes? Well, it seems reasonable to assume that these “vulnerable people” they are the same people who support the incoming Al Qaeda adjacent Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). To support a terrorist regime such as HTS would seem to make you a Jihad supporter! Furthermore, how will funnelling all this cash to a terrorist regime “combat terrorism” in any way? None of this makes sense and I suppose that’s the point.

It seems to me that the UK Government is more focused on helping Jihadi and their supporters in Syria than comforting pensioners in Britain. The priority lies with “vulnerable” Syrians, not vulnerable Brits.
