Marjorie Taylor Greene calls out Trump priorities!

I like and respect US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. The blonde haired firebrand is my kind of politician and there is little she says that I disagree with. However she took to social media a few days back and made some trenchant criticisms of the Trump regime. This surprised me and I thought we could take a look at what she claims. Marjorie has been a staunch long term Trump ally, but she is warning that the administration may be alienating its core supporters.

“I represent the base, and when I’m frustrated, the base is not happy”

When we examine her grievances, these are centred on unfulfilled campaign promises.

She slams the administration for the Ukrainian minerals deal, likening it to the Iraq invasion, and questioned why approvals for the Covid vaccine, which she claims is ineffective, remain in place? Kids are STILL mandated for the Covid jab, why?

She also voices alarm over potential conflicts, stating,

I campaigned for no more foreign wars, and now we’re on the verge of war with Iran.

Greene argues that the U.S. should focus on mining its own rare earth minerals rather than relying on foreign deals to offset aid to Ukraine.

Greene is a leading figure in the party’s populist wing, and has cautioned that losing her support means losing the base, especially since Trump will not be on future ballots. “Do the math,” she has quipped, underscoring the political stakes.

Once a polarising figure, Greene has risen from a pariah—stripped of committee assignments in 2021 for inflammatory social media posts, including comparing mask mandates to the Holocaust—to a key player in Trump’s orbit.

Now chairing his government efficiency subcommittee, she wields significant influence. Her outspoken criticism, rare for a loyalist, reflects the delicate balance Trump must strike to maintain his base. As one of the loudest MAGA voices, her criticisms must be taken seriously. I am full on MAGA and foreign wars and stupid deals with Ukraine seem a long way way from America First. What do you think?
