If there is a chasm between the Leader of a Political Party and the membership, that does not augur well. Which brings me to Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform Party in the UK.
A new poll commissioned by GB News shows that there is popular support across ALL British voters to deport ALL illegal migrants in the UK, with around 66% saying to get them out. When it comes to Reform voters, that % increases to 99%!
This is not about just deporting those who have come here illegally AND committed serious crimes. It is about deporting ALL who have entered the UK illegally. Black and White.
Now, let me play you Reform Leader Nigel Farage categorically ruling this out.
So it is absolutely clear that Nigel Farage WILL NOT contemplate doing the thing that his members rightly want. He will argue that he WILL deport those who commit crimes, so we have to wait until they rape or kill before getting rid of them. How does that make ou feel.
However, it gets worse. In order to deport ANYBODY, it is plainly understood that the UK needs to leave the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). So, where does Nigel Farage stand on that? Well, he would like to hold a Referendum on doing it, as oppose to actually doing it. This is no different to the Conservative Party and again falls well short of what the membership wants. If we do not LEAVE the ECHR we will find that we will deport very few people and the BEST Farage offers is the possibility of a Referendum that he does not know he can win.
I have long argued that the UK is ruled by a Uniparty. That Uniparty consists of Conservative, Labour and libDems. I am now convinced that a Nigel Farage led Reform is part of the Uniparty.
I have further evidence.
Consider Farage back in 2020 when he was out beating his pots and pans for the NHS, playing a key role in the Establishment Covid psyops. He also advocated Tony Blair should be put in charge of the Jab roll-out.
Then consider his views on the Ukraine Russia conflict. Despite making some sensible comments he came out with this ABSOLUTE nonsense a few months ago
“If we can get Putin into a place, and [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelenskyy into a place where we have a reasonable negotiation, I would have thought, looking ahead, it’s probably essential that Ukraine joins NATO.”
Ukraine in NATO = WW3.
The instincts of the Reform Party rank and file are solid and the shame is that their Leader is opposed to those instincts.
In removing plain speaking Rupert Lowe from the Party because he DARED say the things that members wanted, Nigel Farage has shown himself to be a thin skinned narcissist. Reform needs reformed.
