In the Summertime….

The Rwanda plan put forward by the Conservatives was, at best, a distraction. It would never have worked properly as that party lacked the will or the conviction to radically change our legal system. That blatant lack of will was a handicap coupled with our political overlords’ obsession in following every dotted ‘i’ of international law. By the same token, the current government’s strategy of “smashing the gangs” is gaslighting the public on a grand scale. The only thing that will stop this invasion is turning around the boats at the demarcation line between UK and French territorial waters. If those occupants then choose to throw themselves into the sea, they alone will be responsible for their own demise. When you have young children and you warn them of the grave danger of, for example, messing around with electric sockets, you don’t go and cover all those sockets with thick wooden guards to stop their curiosity. In other words, you don’t close off the chances of all eventualities for the sake of making your point. It’s impractical because it would render the everyday use of electrical goods in your house a massive inconvenience. The same applies here: You warn people that, if they embark on a dangerous journey across the Channel, they will not be allowed to set foot on UK soil. The Navy is perfectly capable of carrying out such a deterring manoeuvre without resorting to warfare tactics. If, however, those on board would prefer to throw themselves into the Channel rather than returning to the French shoreline, then they need to be informed they will likely meet the same fate as Glenn Miller! For you cannot place the mortal ‘sanctity’ of a few over the rights, safety, security and expectations of the many. It leads to societal breakdown. In the long-term, it leads to the very destruction of the nation-state as we know it.

Sadly, those who currently run our country don’t really care about its future stability. Consequently, I believe history will record the failure to adequately tackle the Channel crossings as the most vivid illustration of the failure of the liberal elite. I love the country called Britain, but I loathe the governing apparatus of the British state. How could I feel differently when that same state has decided randoms from the cesspits of the planet have more rights and entitlements than our native population? I believe the current situation is unsustainable, not just across here but across Europe. If the ECHR cannot be substantially reformed, then it becomes a question of ‘when’, not ‘if’, the United Kingdom and several other European states withdraw from its legal orbit altogether. And all that is leaving aside the question of the atrocious level of LEGAL migration into this abominably overcrowded island!

So here is my prediction for the summer ahead: Labour is doing nothing (and will do nothing) of worth to stop the boats/smash the gangs. Socialists love mass immigration, by whatever means. The party is already on the record as saying its policy is to have legal migration running at 300k a year, which was the level that helped to trigger the Brexit referendum victory nine years ago this month. Its response to mass migration has been to stamp down on the dissension to the policy from the indigenous majority here – ploughing on with their DEI quest, controls on freedom of speech, an effective blasphemy law to protect their client Islamic voters, and to do all they can to ignore the elephantine problem of Pakistani rape gangs. By the autumn, the party will be even further down in the opinion polls than it is at present. Imagine watching your poll ratings burn even quicker than the country you rule over, and all because you couldn’t admit your worldview was wrong.

I find that contemptible. Worse, I find it bloody criminal!

I’ll be away enjoying time in Donald Trump’s America for the next few weeks. My next article will be Sunday, July 6th.
