As we enter difficult times, there is a suggestion that the UK Government will require “Tech Giants” to “stop the spread of fake news”. This is of course SIMPLY code for “suppress anything that we don’t like” and given that this is what ALREADY happens with Facebook, Youtube and TikTok, it REALLY means force Elon Musk to censor the hell out of anyone who dares to take issue with this tyrannical Government on the X/Twitter platform.
“Fake News” is an entirely subjective term and implies that it is NEVER something that the Government or the mainstream media would engage in, which is gaslighting on a cosmic level! It is disturbing to read that the Government plans to “train” young people into how to spot “fake news”
Schools will teach children about spotting extremist content and fake news online in an overhaul of the curriculum after far-right riots erupted across the UK. The education secretary announced on Saturday that English, ICT (information and communication technology) and maths are among the lessons that will be used to “arm” pupils against “putrid conspiracy theories”.
You see where this one is going? Labour wants to brainwash young people and stop them from considering diverse opinions! Let’s hope that Musk does not give them what they want. The main source of “Fake News” is Government. Maybe consider banning them, Elon?
