Should I continue here?

I don’t know. I started this substack with high hopes but I don’t feel like that some days anymore. I find it dispiriting to see so few people engage with what I say which makes me think it’s not worth saying. I do appreciate you few loyal supporters who do engage with me and who like my posts. If it weren’t for you I would be gone. I always do my best to post content here daily but it’s feeling like a grind. I don’t know why but a post on substack gets around 1000th of the reactions/engagement I get elsewhere. The irony is I love writing and always have done so. The growth here is very modest and it has the effect of making me think I am pushing water uphill. So what do you think?

The State is never your friend!

The single greatest threat to individual liberty is the growth of the State. The bigger the size of the State then the smaller the freedoms of the individual. It’s worth bearing that in mind because the UK is about to enter a period of sustained Statism under Labour.

The Matrix is calling..

I’m writing this at 35,000 ft as I travel to London for the day and as we enter the final day of the UK General Election. From this altitude the world looks a bit different. The matrix is telling you that you have a political choice between Labour, Conservatives or Labour. In other words the Uniparty! But it’s no choice at all – it’s all the same with a few variations. People will rush out to vote for “Change” even though the only change they will get is between bad and worse. That’s not worth a vote, is it? Yet the media assiduously seduce you into seeing change where there is none.
