Sunday saw the largest gathering of people showing support for Israel and opposition to anti-Semitism in many many decades. Tommy Robinson turned up, against the organisers wishes, and was promptly arrested by the Metropolitan Police. He was pepper sprayed and bundled into a police van and remains in custody. Was this a proportionate response? Why was his presence a crime?
