No more Migrants!

This is the awesome image of a BONFIRE burning with a political message. I think it is a powerful image sending the Government the clear message that we don’t WANT anymore illegal migrants. It also urges support for veterans. Isn’t it fantastic?

Well, not according to the Police, who are “investigating this as hate speech”! Nor according to pearl clutching political commentators and politicians who are horrified. But what are they horrified about precisely?

The symbolic dinghy with dummies in it? The call to stop illegal migration? The support for our Veterans? Or, is the fact that this amazing bonfire spits in the face of establishment narrative and that the young working class lads who build it are heroes to their community?

It also exposes a fundamental truth.

This bonfire was build in a place called Moycashel. This is very close to a town called Dungannon. Dungannon has perhaps the highest concentration of migrants of any town in Northern Ireland.

Here are the uncomfortable facts;

Between 2001 and 2011, Dungannon’s migrant population grew dramatically, from 484 to 5,998, a 1,139% increase, the largest percentage change in Northern Ireland. By2011, over 10% of Dungannon’s population (approximately 16,000 total) were migrants, up from just 1% in 2001, compared to a Northern Ireland average of 4.5% The migrant community includes people from Eastern Europe, Portugal, East Timor, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, and other African and Asian countries. The 2011 census recorded 894 East Timorese residents, with estimates suggesting several thousand by 2014.

So this area has seen massive demographic change that nobody voted for and now some locals are saying ENOUGH!

I would love to see this example replicated across the UK as we rise up and express our legitimate concerns about legal and illegal migration! I salute all involved in this cultural expression of rebellion against mass migration. Do you?
