Farage capitulates to pressure, again.

I have done my best NOT to say anything publicly critical of Reform for some time now as I prefer to concentrate my ire on the common enemy. However I am not going to give Nigel Farage a free pass on his craven apology to the Left over the comments of his MP Sarah Pochin which I reported on here!

As you know, she pointed out something that we ALL see, namely that UK advertising blatantly under-represents WHITE people in favour of over-representing BLACK people. Here’s a quick visual representation of what I mean.

This is pretty much the boiler plate for many UK TV ads! A Black man, a white wife and brown kids. It could not be more unrepresentative of reality and yet it is ubiquitous. The act of even noticing this in a country that is overwhelmingly white appears to be a thought crime and here is how Farage responded…

Weak. Weak. Weak.

He doesn’t quite throw Pochin under the bus but the threat is there. He is so scared of his Party being called “racist” that he cravingly genuflects to leftists but he must surely know this will only encourage them? It shows a determination to be “respectable” within an Overton window framed by his enemies and the left in general. It worries me how he would behave if he gets into office and the media applies the heat.

Pochin’s actual words were as follows…

Her instincts are right and she spoke honestly. I reckon that most of the white British electorate will sympathise with her. Nigel issued a veil threat against her that if HE thought she was “racist” she would be gone. She would then follow Rupert Lowe and Ben Habib into oblivion.

Farage did NOT have to respond in this way. He COULD have said that whilst her words were perhaps a little clumsy, the sentiment she expressed was one with which he agreed. He could have backed her more overtly, rather than warn her off the topic.

So yes, Nigel Farage, most Brits will agree with what Sarah Pochin said, and wonder why you are so fragile about it. If you want to lead a future Government you have to stand against the liberal media, not genuflect to it.
