In the very first instance, we shouldn’t be even remotely surprised that the crescent of Islam flies over Westminster Abbey. This was the sight that greeted anyone in the Westminster area yesterday and if they looked up at the massive tower of Westminster Abbey, there they saw the Pakistan flag. The Pakistan flag features the crescent of Islam.
Now some apologists for this craven act will say this is just a silly misunderstanding. “We simply flew the Pakistan flag as a sign of Goodwill with people from Pakistan who may be living in the UK”. That they did so during Easter week- the most important week in the Christian calendar – appears to have somewhat been overlooked by the Westminster Abbey authorities! Furthermore, flying the flag of a different nation than the UK is clearly a political act, not a theological act.
None of this surprises me because I believe that the leadership of the church of England is essentially Satanist, and yes, I am referencing the likes of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby in that statement. So for them to do things like this is actually quite predictable.
There is a deeper level of insult here. By flying the Islamic Crescent over this prominent Christian landmark, it does suggest that we have been conquered, that we submit to Islam. In a city with a Muslim mayor and a substantial Muslim population. I am sure this will not have been overlooked. Allahu Akhbar, baby,
