David what happens when the banks announce: “Sorry, the pound (or any other fiat currency) has crashed after recent bank runs etc., and to save the banking system we’re now going to use CBDC. You have 30 days (some time period) to exchange your savings and cash for CBDC at 1CBDC=1Pound Sterling (some exchange rate), before your savings/cash become worthless.” ???
