I am sure many of you will share my delight at this Truth Social post by President Trump.
It sounds good but how does this turn from a thumping social media post to an actual legal order? Legal experts have rightly pointed out that, although a president has the authority to revoke executive orders, statements on social media carry no legal weight, and presidential pardons are constitutionally irreversible.
The Trump announcement came after a House Oversight Committee report raised concerns about Biden’s handling of documents and his age. I believe that many of the EO’s made during the Biden Presidency were indeed made by “radical left lunatics” using the Autopen and there was one in particular EO that I wanted to bring to your attention – namely the appointment of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court,
Announcing the nomination, President Biden described Judge Jackson as an “extraordinary” candidate, with an “independent mind, uncompromising integrity and a strong moral compass”.
It’s hard to believe that even Biden was stupid enough to think that, so was she an Autopen appointment? If so, could her position be in peril? Trump might then be able to replace her which would provide a 6-2 conservative balance on the Supreme Court. That would be truly momentous. Let’s hope that Trump follows through on his Truth Social Post!
