Fascinating and depressing to read new analysis suggesting that, for certain larger families, a household would need to earn around £71,000 a year before they are better off working than relying on benefits and support under Labour’s new system.
No one should be remotely surprised at this since that is the fundamental purpose of socialist administrations – they want you a prisoner of the State!
The UK median income per household is £36,700 per year post tax and before housing costs. So some of those unemployed Pakistani and Bangladeshi households with 3+ kids are now likely to have twice as much disposable income as a hardworking traditional British family. How does that sound to you, dear reader?
All this has been brought about by Labour’s cynical decision to scrap the two-child limit on some benefits, which currently restricts support to the first two children in most families. Removing this means families with more than two children will receive higher benefit payments than before. The propagandists allege this helps tackle “child poverty” but I see don’t see why it does anything such thing.
How does Labour know the additional thousands of £££’s will go towards children? Is there a control mechanism? The suggestion of “lifting 450,000 children out of poverty”is pure spin for the gullible and back benchers. This is a blatant BRIBE to a largely Muslim voter base who can spend it in whatever way they want. This is a financial boost to the lazy and work shy and an absolute insult to hardworking Brits.
When Labour came to power, they insisted they were focused on economic growth. That was the big lie. In fact, they are doing what socialists always do. They tax the productive and transfer the loot to the idle.
