Let’s face it, NATO should have been knocked on the head AFTER the fall of the Soviet Union. Mission Accomplished. But that is not what happened and over the subsequent decades I would contend that NATO has become a sprawling global predator that provokes trouble and war. Ukraine is a good example of this very unhelpful aggression. This is a moment that the United States under the formidable President Trump should seize to get the hell of out of NATO.
