Fabian fascists seem allergic to elections.
You’ll be aware that Sir Keir Starmer’s regime is offering councils the option to postpone 2026 local elections into 2027. The reason given is Labour directed local government reorganisation, with some councils already requesting delays.
Those Councils seeking to postpone the judgement of the people include Blackburn with Darwen Council (Labour), Chorley Borough Council (Labour), East Sussex County Council (Conservative minority), Hastings Borough Council (Green minority), and West Sussex County Council (Conservative).
The cynicism involved here is off-the-scale but things have just gotten a whole lot worse.
Listen to the Labour Party Chair, ex-fast stream Home Office Civil Servant Anna Turley, refuse to rule out delaying the 2029 General Election date. Other Keir Starmer’s loyalist Ministers and MPs are privately saying ‘a national emergency may require such a move”!
And what might that “national emergency” be?
I suggest the prospect of a Reform Government and the smashing of the UK Uniparty!
Since it got elected with a massive majority in summer 2024, Labour has plummeted in popularity, Starmer holds subterranean approval ratings and his Party faces wipe out in the Scottish and Welsh parliamentary elections next May. Hie regime is crushing free speech via the Online Safety Act, it is removing Jury trials, fast tracking Digital ID, reversing Brexit and seeking war with Russia at all costs. There is even talk of conscription.
A Covid type event or a War would provide Labour with the cover needed and at this point I believe it is quite capable of engineering such an event. Labour will increasingly resemble a wounded beast. It will suffer heavy blows next May and whilst encouraging the cancelling of English council elections will ameliorate fortunes in England, the outlook is still bleak. Desperate times lead to desperate actions and the idea of Labour postponing the 2029 General Election is possible, if not probable!
