I have said before that Shariah Law has no place whatsoever in the UK. I believe every Sharia Court must be closed down. I suspect many of you agree with me. So I was pleased when Reform MP Sarah Pochin stood up in Parliament and said this;
The answer she gets from this Labour Government is that “tolerance” of Sharia Courts is a British value. wHAT
No it’s not. It’s a value close to the heart of an Islam pandering Labour Government. It’s an appeasement value. It is cowardly. And it’s two tier justice.
The reasons I want to ban it is because these alternative councils, which operate without legal standing but which do hold sway in muslim communities, enforce alien principles, facilitate coerced marriages, and can leave victims of domestic abuse vulnerable. They are not harmless, they are not British and the fact that Labour is so entrenced in tolerating them is all the evidence that you need that it will happily preside over the Islamisation of the UK!
