Gender is on the passport

I was pleased to read that the U.S. Supreme Court has allowed the Trump administration to enforce a policy requiring all *new* passports to display an individual’s biological sex at birth rather than their self-identified gender.

This is a big win for reality and not dissimilar to the of the UK Supreme Court.

It stops the Biden administration’s demented policy that permitted “transgender” and “non-binary” individuals to select their gender identity on passports, including a third gender option marked “X.”

The court ruled 6 votes to 3 that indicating sex at birth in passports does not violate equal protection, as it is considered affirming a historical fact like country of origin.

To the surprise of no-one, the three woke liberal justices dissented, arguing the policy harms “transgender” people by forcing them to carry documents that do not reflect their gender identity, increasing their risks of discrimination and violence. But that is a bogus argument because your sex at birth will always be your sex, all that transits is what takes place in your mind. They ARE whatever gender they were born and we shouldn’t allow reality to be distorted just to make them feel good.

The Trump administration’s executive order, issued on January, directs that federal identification—including passports—reflects only “male” or “female” as determined at birth, eliminating the self-identification policy of the prior administration. This restores clarity and consistency, essential for effective border control, immigration enforcement, and international travel standards. In short, it is common sense..

This really is a landmark moment reinforcin Trump administration’s policy stance on gender identification in federal documentation. It prioritises biological sex as the basis for official recognition in passports. In a sane world, it wouldn’t even be necessary.

The fightback against trans ideologues is underway.
