Feral Youth

Some of the scenes we saw in Clapham High Street the other day looked as if they night have taken place in the tribal areas of South Africa as hundreds of mostly BLACK young people rampaged through the local Marks and Spencers. Here is the video of this

You can see a few police officers haplessly watching the mob do what it wanted.

Now there are several aspects to this story we need to reflect upon.

For starters, the absolute failure of the authorities to do anything to punish the rioters. I understand that four people may be prosecuted but whether that then amounts to anything substantive is highly questionable. I understand a similar mob came back the next day and paid a visit to McDonalds.

Then there is the kryptonite issue of race. Most, not all, of those feral youths are black. This is something the media don’t really want to talk about but we SHOULD talk about it? What sort of (lack) of Parenting have these kids had? Any responsible parent would naturally be appalled if their kids were found to be behaving in this way. But I wonder how many of these youths come from a stable two parent background? The local MP for this area is the truly appalling Labour Bell Ribeiro-Addy.

Now, I have a few questions to ask her but am unable to do so because

She chaired the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Afrikan Reparations (Yes, really) and has been prominent on issues including anti-racism, reparations, immigration, refugee rights, and the Windrush scandal. Her response to these feral mobs in her own constituency has been – muted but lets turn to London Mayor Sadiq Khan,

TWO arrests.

These sort of mob scenes are not that unusual in other parts of the world. But they typically also involves black youth and we need to ask if this is the price paid for third world diversity. If so, it is a a price too high. The Londo Mayor boasts what a safe city London has become and how diversity is its strength. He’s lying, of course, but there is a solid left wing consensus that says we must ignore the race aspect and caRry on regardless. I think that is profoundly misguided.
