The hypocrisy of David Lammy!

There is a good argument to be made that Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy has an IQ below that of room temperature level. After all, this is the man who when he appeared on BBC “Mastermind” quiz programme, demonstrated a quite remarkable level of stupidity
When quizzed in the general knowledge round with, “Which English king succeeded Henry VIII?”, he confidently replied “Henry VII,” reversing the actual order of the Tudor monarchs. In another question, he was asked which blue cheese is traditionally eaten with port; he answered “Red Leicester,” which isn’t blue. When asked for the married surname of Nobel Prize–winning scientists Marie and Pierre, he said “Antoinette” instead of Curie!
Yet this buffoon has held high office in the Labour Government, first as Foreign Secretary and now as Deputy PM.
It was in this capacity that he wandered onto Nick Ferrari’s morning show on LBC a few days ago. Now Ferrari can be a fearsome interviewer. I have been interviewed by him a few times back in the day and you have to be super smart not to be caught out. David Lammy was going to find this a challenge and so it proved. Have a watch of this!
This clip is painful to watch because he completely fails to answer a simple question. Asked if he’d “take the knee” for murdered Henry Nowak, he dodges with awkward, rambling answers about symbolism and George Floyd. He looks so uncomfortable and evasive, unable to give a straight response. The contrast is obvious: he was quick to kneel for Floyd in 2020, but hesitates here, then rules it out. What a scumbag.
This makes him seem grossly hypocritical, as if some victims matter more to him than others depending on the politics. For such a senior minister, his weak delivery and word salad undermines any trust and reinforce the sense that he’s way out of his depth
How can such a stupid man have risen so high?.
