BAFTAS and Sulphur

Did you see that the 77th British Academy Film Awards, more commonly known as the BAFTAs, were held last night 18 February 2024? I managed to completely avoid the ceremony to which the BBC devoted prime time TV. I used to be of the view that ALL these ceremonies where actors congratulate each other on how wonderful they are simply constitute a complete waste of time – but that’s a given!

However is there more to this than just an ego-indulgence?

I suspect that there is. For starters, I am not sure that anything about these Award shows that is organic. It seems all scripted to advance narrative. The world of Entertainment is no longer that, if it ever was. It’s more about propaganda. Exhibit 1,Barbie. Exhibit 2 , ANY Marvel movie since 2018. The fakery is off the scale and in many cases it sets out to insult, patronise and abuse the audience, especially if it is white and heterosexual. This is one reason why Disney movies have made such colossal losses these past few years.

But, I hear you say, does that mean that those acting in the Movies and TV shows themselves are actively part of this cult? Yes, I think so. There is always the exceptions some may just be very stupid, a few may be ok but I figure that’s an outside bet. If you want to get the best roles in the top productions, what chance have you unless you are identified as being “on-side”? This is equally true of Music Industry shows where the Satanism literally oozes out of the screen.

Over on Twitter/X, actor James Woods was asked the question;

“James, serious question. As someone who has enormous respect for your talent as an actor, I’m curios – how evil is Hollywood?”

His answer?

“Multiple your worst fears by 100.”

James is an exception to the rule. People like Laurence Fox is another. However once they step outside of the Woke Tent and dissent, their careers are over.

So an Industry which punishes honesty and decency is unlikely to award those people within it who stand for such virtues.
