Remember how they tried it back during the Covid tyranny – Digital ID? The sales pitch back then was that it helped keep you safe from an alleged respiratory disease. The threat was that if you didn’t get it you would be excluded from polite society. It didn’t quite work mainly because it was ludicrous. People understood that this was a control mechanism worthy of the CPC and one that they would avoid. We have Passports, we have driving licenses, we have plenty of forms of ID as it is and we don’t need any more.
So now the Labour Government is back to have ANOTHER go to force us into the Digital straitjacket.
Sir Keir Starmer is forging ahead with digital identity cards, eyeing an announcement as soon as the Labour Party conference to underscore his strategy against illegal immigration.
Here’s the sales pitch from Liz Kendall…

Trying to claim that a Digital ID will stop illegal migration is so ludicrous that only a politician could dare to make that claim. Illegal migrants don’t have ID. They make sure they don’t have ID. This will do NOTHING to stem the tsunami of illegality crossing the English Channel but EVERYTHING to get us in a control grid that the Government can then exploit for all it is worth.
This is a red line. If Starmer can push this through then we will cede our privacy, independence and freedom to Government. It can’t happen. Do NOT comply!
