Let’s examine the credentials of Kemi Badenoch, she would aspires to lead the (fake) Conservative Party.
Gaining control over IMMIGRATION is a core issue for many Conservatives voters.
Kemi wants us bound to the ECHR which means that it will be virtually impossible to deport any illegal migrant that comes to our shore. In fact, it’s worse than that because she is on record back in 2018 saying that we need more migration. She now claims to hold a tougher position but can we believe that? On this touchstone issue, I don’t see how she will achieve very much beneath the bellicose language she uses
“We need to make sure that when people are coming to this country they are people who are coming to contribute and who want the success of our country.
“If you want to stay here we live in an age where you need to be very committed. We are not a dormitory, we are not a sponge.”
This is true in as far as it goes BUT how will this stop the cross-channel migrants? How will she deport the million plus who are already here?
She also talked tough about having a bonfire of EU legislation and statutes but ended up doing absolutely about it. This seems to be her modus operandi – talk tough but act weak.
I have no confidence in her to transform the Conservatives from what they are – a hollowed out husk of Conservatism.
