Thought I would test out the Substack censors with this one! At the moment my account here is pretty much frozen on all fronts which annoys me, as you may gather. I get no new free subscribers and definitely no new paid subscribers so I am taking the benign view I will write what I want, I will paywall what I want, and if people want it they know what to do.
That being said, let’s talk about Afghanistan! How are things are working out now that the hardline Taliban islamists are in power? You will remember the absolute chaos that surrounded the Joe Biden directed withdrawal from this particular hellscape and the Taliban have had several years now to impose their version of Islam rule.
