White Liberal Narcissism is killing black people!

If Jason Arday had been white, he’d still be alive. That’s the simple truth of the matter.
The reason for this is straightforward: his Whiteness would never have been elevated and protected in the way that his Blackness did. Without that astronomical rise in academia there would have been no catastrophic fall. So in way, race is to blame but NOT in the way the likes of the BBC and left wing politicians are suggesting.
We know how his story ended with his unexpected death earlier this month at the age of 41, but to me this is less a personal tragedy than a case study in what happens when elite institutions abandon rigorous standards in favour of ideological priorities. Because that is exactly what happened here, be under no illusions. There is guilt and Arday carries a lot of it, but so does woke Academia.
Arday first arrived at the University of Cambridge in 2023 as its youngest Black professor, a title celebrated across media and academia. The tokenism was totemic! His personal narrative was virtually theatrical;: diagnosed with autism and developmental delays, reportedly non-verbal until age 11 and unable to read or write until 18, he overcame extraordinary obstacles to reach the pinnacle of British higher education. He spoke of his herculean raising millions for charity through extreme endurance running—30 marathons in 35 days, hundreds of miles in mere days—and of a career dedicated to race, inequality, and neurodiversity in education.
Cambridge, like other universities, framed his appointment as a triumph of diversity and a rebuke to historical underrepresentation. They chose not to check just how HONEST any of this was. And that is now on them. They stand exposed.
As we covered here before, serious questions about the substance behind the story had circulated quietly for years. When these became public in the summer of 2026, the discrepancies proved explosive. Large sections of his 2015 doctoral dissertation from Liverpool John Moores University closely tracked or reproduced passages from an earlier thesis by another scholar, sometimes retaining identical phrasing and even errors. Multiple published papers required corrections after similarities in language, interview data, and attributions raised concerns about originality and integrity. Claims about athletic feats and fundraising totals could not be independently verified and affiliations listed on his CV, including certain visiting roles, did not hold up under scrutiny. In short, it was all a crock and he got away with it because he had the “right” racial profile. And that is wrong.
But what is most telling is how Cambridge University initially dismissed the mounting criticism as a “vile campaign.” Their default mode was to defend the indefensible! It was only after more information emerged about qualifications and appointments that the university FINALLY opened its own investigation. Arday resigned with immediate effect. Days later, he was found dead.
What allowed this to happen?
Well, this is the dark heart of the REAL STORY that they really don’t want us to consider. Tenured academics—many of them white, and notably women in positions of institutional influence—chose to overlook clear shortcomings. They praised work that, on inspection, pushed themes of Black victimhood and systemic exclusion over scholarship. Lectures and writings consisted of expansive, repetitive language about power, privilege, and racial injustice. It was a prolonged anti White whinge. And they all loved it.
Rather than apply the expected filters of peer review, citation standards, and methodological scrutiny, colleagues treated the identity of the speaker as a shield. Critiques were preemptively framed as racism or ableism. The result was not genuine inclusion; it was the suspension of the very excellence the institution claimed to uphold.
Cambridge’s welcome of their mascot illustrated the dynamic. The appointment was heralded with institutional enthusiasm. Senior figures described Arday as exceptional and world-leading in his field. Video and photographs from the period capture the atmosphere of celebration that accompanied his arrival—an almost theatrical affirmation of the university’s progressive credentials. In one widely noted moment, the visible delight of those receiving him bordered on the performative.
Nothing about the response was in any way surprising in light of broader patterns. The Faculty of Education, where Arday held his chair, has itself reflected the deeper capture. Figures such as Assistant Research Professor Farah Ahmed operate within the same ecosystem, advancing the same hatred of the West. She authored a 2002 pamphlet, later republished in 2017, condemning western education as a threat to Muslim values. It also called democracy corrupt and attacked British schools that opposed child marriage. Do you see the SCALE of the problem/..
All of this is the predictable result of elite universities fully embracing woke ideology. When academic advancement shifted from actual mastery of a subject to demographic checkboxes and stories of historical grievance, it created the openings for people simply not equipped for serious academic work.
Race—or any protected identity—becomes a shield. Ordinary scrutiny gets dismissed as institutional bias. Errors in scholarship are blamed on poor supervision or neurodivergence instead of personal accountability..The damage goes far beyond one career. It is elevating people whose credentials can’t survive basic scrutiny and it devalues the degrees and positions of those who earned them the hard way. How many OTHER Jason Arday’s are out there?
It misleads students looking for models of intellectual honesty. It also undermines public trust in “expertise” when we need that rigorous scholarship most. And yes, it puts crushing pressure on the people themselves. The narrative that lifted Arday—overcoming impossible odds as a symbol of progress—left almost no room for ordinary human limits or mistakes. Once the fabrications and borrowings came to light, the fall was complete.
Elite Education has been fully captured by woke ideology and this has unintended consequences. It means that those WHOLLY UNSUITED to holding any academic role of now able to slither up the ladder and use them use their race a defence shield.
The “long march through the institutions” was a slogan coined by a German socialist student activist Rudi Dutschke around 1967 to describe his strategy to create radical change in government by becoming part of it. The phrase “long march” is a reference to the physical Long March of the Chinese communist army. When we stand back and look at 817 year old Cambridge University, the second oldest university in the English speaking world, we see that the march is complete.
However as an unintended consequence, by allowing plagiarists and fantasists to hide behind their ethnicity, it also can be seen to kill them.
