It doesn’t surprise me anymore but it certainly infuriates me! I’m talking about the not so slow creep of Sharia Law in the UK. Nowhere is this more evident than in this job posting for a “Shariah Law Administrator” at Manchester Community Centre.
It was advertised on the UK government’s Department for Work and Pensions site with a £23,500 salary! That’s £23,500 too much. Taxpayers are now funding Shariah.
I was curious to understand what the role involves. Unbelievably it is a role supporting the Manchester Shariah Council, an organisation focused on Islamic legal mediation!
This role requires a Diploma/Degree in Shariah Law and experience in Muslim countries and this makes me wonder just how many other people are being recruited on UK Government websites to drive Shariah in the UK. It’s subversion, it is treason.
As I have discussed here before, Britain has emerged as the “western capital” for Shariah courts, with circa 85 Islamic councils now operating across the country since the first was established in 1982.
What purpose have they in this country?
Well, I think it is twofold.

These religious bodies have become increasingly influential, drawing Muslims from across Europe and North America who seek religious rulings on marriage and family matters. The councils, typically consisting of panels of Islamic scholars who are almost always male, serve as informal bodies issuing religious rulings particularly focused on marriages and divorces. Sharia was defined in an official review by theologian Professor Mona Siddiqui as jurisprudence based on Islamic scholars’ opinions from the time of Mohammed in the 7th century until the 13th century.
But then there is the real reason
This is Islamic supremacy. It is a slo-mo subversion of OUR British legal system and it should be banned.
Not ONE of these “Councils” should be allowed to exist. We don’t need 7th century Islamic opinions to decide anything in our country. And while I am at it, we don’t need ANY other parallel legal systems in our country. Ban the lot of them!
We should ALL be subject to the one legal system, the BRITISH SYSTEM, and it is not acceptable for any parallel systems to be present in our country.
