The UK establishment is deeply worried. It desperately wants war but it might get peace so the rhetoric has to be cranked up. So we got this orchestrated media onslaught from the head of the military, the head of MI6, and all the usual political suspects to try and *convince* us that Putin is everywhere and wants to invade the UK! Have a watch of this.
How cringe.
Here’s a point about Air Chief Marshal Rich Knighton; he has literally never deployed to an area of conflict. He has some jubilee gongs and a long service good conduct medal, and the breathtaking impertinence to tell us and our children that we need to step up to defend him and his comfy office.
As for the head of MI6, our dirty tricks department, well Blaise Metreweli has a Ukrainian father so maybe she’s not quite the neutral we may think.
This is the Deep State looking straight at you and trying to scare you.
Let me ask you would YOU want to see your children “step up” to fight Russia? Would you like to see them sacrificed for the egos of Knighton and Metreweli? I can think of no greater waste and I think millions of Brits see right through all this warmongery.We live in the age of nukes and drones, it isn’t 1914 anymore.
Our real enemy is in Whitehall, not the Kremlin. I don’t believe for one nano-second that Putin harbours malice towards the UK. I certainly don’t believe that he plans to invade us and next thing you know you will see the Russian hordes sweep down the Mall! This co-ordinated hysteria, fanned by the media of course, will not cut through and I don’t believe we will see mass sign ups to go fight the Russian Bear.
Just as well too – if we did we would lose.
