I din’t think we will ever see the likes of President Trump again in our lifetimes. He is truly remarkable, a one-off, and this was manifest when out of the blue, he posted this on Truth Social! Just hours ahead of his deadline to the regime, he told the world this;
No one saw it coming and I think that included the Regime. Check out his words. The negotiations are with “the country of Iran” which rather suggests it is not with the Mullah regime. He made it clear that it not with the latest Supreme Leader. I have no idea why he used the word “Witch” but POTUS is always precise with his words.
Anyway, the Iranian regime were super fast to deny that they were ANY talks. There was the suggestion that these talks had been with the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament. Here is his response.
But is this a double bluff? And can the IRGC be sure that Ghalibaf is telling the truth? And what if the Ghalibaf is just a distraction from a different negotiation?
This is what Trump is so good at? He seeds confusion amongst his enemies and keeps the media second guessing.
Now just for absolute clarity, I would oppose ANY deal with the current regime. That cannot be a viable solution. We need a total regime change however this may be what Trump is bringing about by sewing all this confusion.
Stock markets soared, then crashed. Oil Prices dropped then rose.
Where this goes I have no idea but in the final analysis 42,000 Iranians did not die protesting their freedom from a regime that is allowed to remain in any kind of power.
