So today is the UK Budget, that annual act of political pageantry when the Chancellor of the Exchequer stands up and tries to bribe you with your own money! And some people are foolish enough to go with it and cheer for the scraps thrown their way. Let’s be clear from the get-go, Governments do not have any money of their own, they simple misappropriate our money in the form of taxes and then use the proceeds to try and manipulate our votes!
That’s what lies at the black heart of EVERY Budget and it sickens me.
However this particular Budget is particularly dismal because it is going to be the FINAL Conservative budget for the next 5-10 years. Labour will comprehensively win the next election so it doesn’t really matter what Chancellor Jeremy Hunt does, the mood of the nation is firmly against the Conservatives after 13 years of betrayal. He can cut National Insurance all he wants, it won’t change a thing. Even a small cut in Income Tax will similarly not alter the change that is coming. The Conservatives are out of time, out of ideas and very soon they will be out of Office. I will celebrate that.
We know that the tax burden they will leave us with is the highest since WW2! National Debt is at 100% of GDP. The economy is in recession. This is the actual legacy of the so-called “sensible” economics of the Tories. They have entirely squandered the economic possibilities of Brexit, they have plundered the economy at the behest of their globalist paymasters and are unfit to Govern.
Labour will be worse, I get that, but let’s not fool ourselves into thinking these fake Conservatives are anything other than morally and economically bankrupt!
